SEAGOE PARISH CENTRE

Situated in Portadown, Seagoe Centre for the Parish of Portadown has been conceived as a flexible accessible Community Facility to provide a range of rooms and spaces to cover a wide range of activities.

The building has been planned and sited to respect the existing Listed stone Church building and required sensitive dialogue and discussions with planning and the Environment and Heritage Service in the clarification of detailed planning matters.  The building is planned on one level with an open, clear circulation route connecting the multi-functional spaces which include a flexible main hall, meeting rooms, a crèche and large flexible open foyer space, complete with office support and reception areas.

The building has a plan and form designed for a wider community use within a range of functional spaces.

Architects Knox & Markwell have been Lead Consultants on this project and have acted as Project Managers representing the client and have co-ordinated all Design Team Consultants.
